Striving to enhance its capabilities along the Gulf Coast, SITEX has merged with Envirotest, Ltd., a leading, Texas-based environmental consultancy, to operate as SITEX, Inc. The integration allows SITEX to expand its service offerings throughout the region and provides a deeper team of resources to Envirotest and its customers. The merger also greatly strengthens both companies’ disaster response services by providing larger response teams and faster response times over an expanded geography.
“SITEX has been working with Envirotest for over 20 years already. We know the quality of their work and the value they bring to clients, so it was a logical extension of that relationship to bring these two companies together permanently,” SITEX CEO Pete Dugan said. “This is truly one of those situations where everyone benefits.”
Meanwhile, Envirotest and its clients gain the support of SITEX’s deep expertise and resources, including its extensive array of industrial safety services. “Envirotest clients will continue to see the same customer-focused attention and professional service they’ve come to expect from us for 36 years,” Envirotest founder and Chairman, Dr. Stuart Williams said. “Now they’ll also gain direct access to one of the premier safety services companies in the entire country. We’ll now be able to offer customers a powerful, value-added single source for all their EH&S needs.”
The merger was completed in March and Envirotest clients will start to see a transition to the SITEX brand in the coming months.
